2024 Review People had started telling me this McDonalds had improved so after my last review I thought I would pay it a visit and give it ago. I walked in and immediately saw mayhem with a very long wait but I thought I would choose table service to ease the wait WRONG, after ordering I discovered the staff had removed all the table ordering numbers as they could not cope and they where sitting by the till. After 30 minutes of waiting I got my fillet o fish meal as I think this is one they can usual ruin. After getting a table and opening my burger carton imagine my horror when I found all the hot food as cold as my milk shake . Had the restaurant been quiet I would have complained but as the one person on the front was snowed under compared to the 5 on drive through.
Bring back Ronald McDonald and happy meals when there was a guarantee of a happy smile when you walked in and not a face full of pimples and cold food. We have come to the conclusion that we are not sure if it’s all McDonald are like this or it’s just the ones within the Foley group.
2023 review Sadly over the last few years food basics have not come up to what some members of the public call satisfactory at this Foley/McDonalds restaurant. Sunday 02nd April . A few years ago it was volume of staff gathering behind the till and talking leaving customers waiting, today. It is the cooks not being able to read. A Steakhouse Stack no lettuce or onion as it brings me out in hives. I took a seat and within 15 minutes the tray arrived sadly with lettuce and onion brimming out under the bun and the box. To add insult to injury it was even labelled on the box NO LETTUCE NO ONION and the receipt ( see pictures for proof ) . History has taught me never to complain in a fast food joint but the basics should at least be guaranteed at purchase imagine if it had been nuts and they had labelled it up nut free!!’ This restaurant/drive thru needs to be given the contempt it gives the customer. Order at the till and check before taking back to your seat this way they will hopefully put taste and customer satisfaction back...
Read moreSo, a hard working front line worker decided to use this restaurant.. The worker in question, spends Allot of hour's on the road's. Whilst working through the pandemic! Therefore important to eat where possible and as regular as possible.
Sadly the workers vehicle will not fit through a drive thru.. The new click and serve app feature has been a godsend. On a date in question, this front line worker had to park diagonally acrross parking bay's. To ensure no obstruction of the overall parking facilities. Without realising they had overhung into a disabled parking bay.
Under ordinary circumstances, I'd consider this to be unacceptable!
However!!!
The driver was on site, less than 17 minutes. The restaurant was/has been closed to all paying customer's. So there is in fact no purpose for a disability bay under Covid lockdown restricted measures.
This restaurant - part of the CT Baker franchises thinks its acceptable to allow a paying customer to be fined for attending their premises and business.
Congratulations on "supporting" front line workers.

Read moreWe drove Into the McDonald’s car park at 7 o’clock in the evening the sky was a blood red orange, The ambience was quaint. Upon entering the establishment of McDonald’s I was greeted by rather friendly man his name- Let’s call him Rob. And if I had to sum them up- not all heroes wear capes, but this one certainly deserved it. We proceeded to order three Big Macs, three Cokes, 9 McNuggets we got from Monopoly and a McChicken share box…decadent, delicious, dreamy the triple D is my signature of approval that I give to any fine dining experience we were certainly full up, especially when we got round eating the last nugget. One pet peeve was the drive through, sometimes things just go awry and that is the way of the world, this brings me back to Rob a man who seems resilient, he seems versatile and can adjust any situation or circumstances accordingly and work through them not only efficiently but with charisma and a smile on his...
