Ordered via Deliveroo. Unfortunately, the paper bag had split by the time it reached us, and thankfully the delivery person caught our meals in their delivery bag and they didn't end up on the floor. Also, was delivered really fast so the food was still pretty warm.

We wanted to order the bento boxes but were outside of the window. I'm not sure if there's a reason, but they stop serving bento boxes at 5pm (at least via takeaway), which is a shame because we would've loved to try it.

We ordered the chicken gyozas and vegetable gyozas, as well as the Tonkotsu and vegan ramen. The gyozas were nice with a crispy outside and a chewy inside. There was lots of noodles in the ramen bowl, and a good amount of toppings. There was the option to add toppings, so I added an egg with the vegan ramen as it doesn't come with it (for obvious reasons). There was two pieces of tofu which was quite tasty, but I do wish there was more of it. I did also pay for chili oil but I do not believe there was any in it. The broth itself was flavourless, which made the noodles quite flavourless. We didn't enjoy the Tonkotsu either, finding it also flavourless.

Overall, the meal was...

The food here is INCREDIBLE. One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve eaten a few. Teeny tiny charming little takeaway with just 8 seats for dining in. My boyfriend and I went on a Friday lunchtime and were the only customers- no idea why because this place is an absolute gem. All of the food is cooked from fresh by the chef in front of you. We ordered green tea and the Bao Buns to start - indescribably light and fluffy buns with the most succulent sticky barbecue pork inside. We then had a bento box each - I had katsu chicken curry, the boy had teriyaki chicken. Both came with sticky rice, greens / salad, two gyozas and two pieces of sushi. I have no words for how tasty everything single item of food was. I was ‘ooohing’ and ‘mmmmming’ throughout, could not exclaiming how delicious each mouthful was. You also got a bowl of miso soup thrown in, and it came to just £21 for everything! Ridiculously good value. Totally in love, will be back at the earliest...

-THE BEST SUSHI WE HAVE EATEN IN THE UK- (& we've been to Japan).

My partner and I have been looking to move to Nottingham and after a house viewing we decided to eat out on the evening. We didn't want to go into city centre for sushi, so this was a perfect spot.

We ordered salmon & tuna maki, salmon nigiri and a salmon and avocado special roll. INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS and the size of the salmon cuts were very generous in ratio to the rice and that is not common at all in the UK.

I also found myself being overjoyed as I'm usually not a fan of raw tuna in the UK but after my partner ordered it for themselves, I decided to try it and I loved it even more than the salmon!!

The place is run by a nice couple whom made us feel very welcome. We had such a wonderful experience for our first eats outside city centre.

We will be back to order the same again and to try more of the menu!

Thanks for the...
