Taste 'N' C. [ takeaway only now] — Restaurant in Nottingham

I’ve been craving Nkwobi for a while and after a few bad experiences elsewhere, I finally struck gold here in Nottingham. I ordered Nkwobi, poundo with ogbono, and peppered turkey, and everything was fantastic. The Nkwobi was spiced to perfection, the ogbono was rich with plenty of “obstacles,” the poundo was light and fluffy, and the peppered turkey was delicious. The food tasted authentic and well-prepared, and the service was just as good, the lady who attended to is was really friendly. Honestly, I couldn’t fault a thing. I would 100% recommend this spot to anyone craving authentic, well-made Nigerian food. It’s definitely a gem in Nottingham and I’ll be ordering again whenever I’m in town.

This restaurant knows how to prepare an exotic African cuisine! The staff is very professional and friendly, ready to please. The menu is easy to understand and if you need further explanation, the staff is willing to answer your questions. I had the nkwobi & asu goat; very tasty, spicy but not hot, the right spicy. My first proper experiences and introductions to Nigerian cuisine and it blew me away. Fully converted and in love. So many flavours, feelings!!! The Banga bangs. The fish slaps.
