Desi Angrez Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Loved it, definitely visit this place soon. My partner and I were only in Nuneaton for a few days so we wanted a cosy place with high quality food. We'd seen a few commercial and flashy curry houses but this one looked cosy and authentic so we gave it a shot and we're so pleased we did. We had Masala Papad and Chilli Paneer as starters. They worked so well together, I recommend it. The Papad was crunchy and spicy in just the right way. My partner said it was the best Chilli Paneer she had tasted outside of India. Our mains were Chicken Biryani and Veg Korma. Both of us were blown away by the quality of these dishes, the Veg Korma was very flavourful with layers of spice unlike anything we've ever experienced. I'm being serious, we eat a lot of curry and Madhuram's Indian Lounge is really special. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor. The chicken 65, Chicken lollipop, Hyderabadi biryani and finally Palooda dessert was especially outstanding. The service was top-notch — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. 18th Aug 2024 opening night we attended Indian Lounge restaurant, a group of us from Spartans Cricket Club ( who play at Griff & Coton ) went for a championship winning meal. From the moment we entered the building until the moment we left we were treated like royalty. The starters, mains & dessert were on point. And the staff were so friendly and helpful. Well done the new management team including Prapul & Mani for making our evening so special. Looking forward to coming back...
