Riversley Park

What kind of community park gives people parking tickets for being there less than 45 minutes when parking is free for 3 hours but we didn't know you needed to still display a parking ticket! We apologised, explaining this was our first time at the park and usually you would not need a ticket for free parking at parks and that due to the effects of Coronavirus we could not afford to pay the fine. Myself and my partner have been impacted financially and this was our first family outing since March! They then show absolutely no sympathy to our simple mistake despite pleading that we really can't afford the fine and insist that we have to pay it. Absolute disgrace, I am appalled at such lack of empathy and will certainly never be attending here again. Disgusting money grabbing behaviour during what is already a difficult time.
