KFC Oldham West Bowling Street — Restaurant in Oldham

I've been to this KFC twice before and the food was hot and fresh and the hot chicken was juicy I had the family bucket both times . The staff have always been happy and friendly. However my 3rd visit was so disappointing. My wife stopped having KFC because she said they lack customer satisfaction. And the quality of food she'd expect . She'd just come out of hospital. And I had told her of the quality from this KFC this time only getting her bones banquet and at £9.99 on a pension it's a luxury but I'd have great quality hot food before so it's worth the money if it's how you'd expect KFC to be. My wife can eat KFC warm I can't but even the wife said it's cold. The chicken cold and the chips are warm . She was very disappointed and she said another KFC disappointment. While the staff have always been very nice and friendly. The food was very disappointing. I live 1.8 miles away and I'd of taken it back only there was a lot of traffic going to kfc because there was only one lane open and it was congested going but less than 5 minutes coming back home I'd rither wait for chicken to come out of the cooker then have it cold. Unbelievably bad service. Went there via drive-thru, the person on speaker was taking my order and I asked her if there was a 8 piece family feast and she said yes. This is a key point to remember. As I was doing my order she suddenly says “Please hold for one minute” and left the mic. I asked what’s up and she kept saying “please wait” turned out she was serving customers at the till inside. She even left the mic on so I wasn’t sure who she was talking to. After a while she returned to me and asked me to complete my order, and I was already pretty upset but completed my order. When done I was told to wait in the collection bay and later she came over to give me my food she said it was 8 piece boneless feast. I said no, I wanted Family Feast and she immediately replied “No!” So I retorted “I got it on camera as proof” as I had a dashcam. The supervisor appeared and asked what happened, then apologised for what happened and I decided to change it for 6 piece family feast bucket instead. After waiting a while I went inside to see how it was going. She brought the bag to me and said to me “Next time be more careful” I beg your pardon? Me be more careful after something she did? Being one of the big fast-food chains you would expect KFC to stand out and provide something more well, it is definitely not the case with this place. The Zinger Burgers seems to be suffering from some shrinking effect given their reduced size. They are far from the Crispy, well done traditional Zinger, the bread felt like the same cheap bread that you can buy in any supermarket, the overall Burger looked like it had been done by children. A piece of battered chicken slapped inside cheap bread with some mayo and lettuce poorly presented and to finish the fries were soft and half cooked. Very poor value for money !
