All you can eat Tapas place. Interesting concept. Even more interesting delivery, and rules, but all very sensible. You have to order a drink, is one rule, can only order the king prawns 3 times per person is another rule and the final rule is you can only order 3 plates per person each time. The food was very tasty especially the patatas bravas, padron peppers, paella, chorizo dish, cheesy garlic bread, white fish dish, chicken wings, cured meats, and every prawn dish. We shared our dishes, as is the thing to do with tapas. This establishment has no problems with people sharing food, it's just that no one is allowed to have any if they are sat there saying they are not hungry and not going to pay the £15 all you can eat price per person. This is so bleeding obvious I can't believe the restaurant has to spell this out on their terms and conditions they hand out to every diner. I will say sometimes it is a bit more than £15 per person too, I went on a Wednesday night when it is £15. The only downsides/feedback for the restaurant were, if it's all you can eat, you are just giving yourself more washing up by serving such tiny portions of some things, such as 2 calimari rings, 2 chicken wings, 2 king prawns, a large spoonful of calimari. It's fine and I'm not complaining, as you will let people order again indefinitely, but I think putting a normal serving on the plate eg 4 chicken wings, 4 calamari etc would save on your washing up.
Also, the wine list, please add a Chardonnay at a reasonable price.
Thanks. Definitely...
Read more5 star! We've just been tonight (a Tuesday) to book my partners 40th and we had a meal whilst being there.
The food was amazing, everything we tried (15 different dishes) were superb. All the staff were friendly and polite, they have a kids menu and also a menu for if you just want a single meal like pizza, burger ect.
I was recommended the Madrid Mahou Larger which I've never tried thus asking what it's like and it was really nice, not too fizzy and easy to go down and not feeling bloated afterwards.
For the price, £15.95 for an all you can eat Spanish Mediterranean cuisine its incredible, nice atmosphere, a feeling of being in Spain with the music, decor and the staff being a different nationality gives La Salsa good vibes.
The function room we went to look at looks great with nice decor also and a good size space. They mentioned we can use La Salsas catering but also you can bring your own if we wanted which is a nice touch as alot of places of this size have told us it's their catering only.
Overall a great experience and we will be going again soon and would definitely...
Read moreI like this, I took my wife for her birthday meal. Staff were great, had a good table. Drinks were nice. My only problem was all the food was tasteless and bland. Ordered meatballs and a bowl come with just 2 meatballs in and lots of sauce. I won't lie, it was kind of all you can eat place, but due to how boringly tasteless the food was, me, and my wife left hungry, as we didn't want to eat anymore of the food. The kids meal my 2 year old got was amazing for chicken nuggets and chips. That was the largest meal I'd ever seen for a kids meal. Great portion size, my daughter didn't eat it all though, so me and my wife tucked into it instead. The place is nice, and I want this place to work as everyone that has tried to make a restaurant here before has failed and closed. More options to the menu could help it work out. Things like beef strips in paprika, and garlic chicken in white wine. Garlic bread with cheese, and cheesy potatoes. Things like this would add a bit of flavour to the food. I hope it works out for them, and they take my review and use it to...
