Refurbished but food quality still not what you'd expect. Food looks nothing like on the menu. EVER. They look like the fillings are thrown together without any thought given to how it looks to the customer when they unpack their food. Not appealing at all. Beef burger bought tonight was below expectation. Dry and almost tasteless. The whole burger in fact tasted nothing like what you go for MCd for not to mention presentation. Almost cold too. Burgers from any supermarket tastes 3x better and my own summer grilled amateur burger too for that fact. Don't eat MCd often but I don't think I will waste my money there again. Their breakfast products also shrinked in size but cost the same or more which is a joke. Not worth the money. KFC is still better value for a quick meal out then MCd. The staff is also somewhat ignorant or lack politeness. And please don't anyone give me the fast food long hours hard work speech. I know all those. Being polite to customers should be a minimum and present in every job. Regardless of what you do. When you go to this MCd drive through or inside it feels like a factory floor. It's fast food, but faceless and uninviting. Also, deliveries are priorotised over in - house orders. Waited ages to get our order whilst I watched delivery drivers in and out constantly with food at their new entrance.. in my opinion your in-house customers should be the priority. But of course deliveries earn them more money.. Which now after the refurb they nicely concealed from us so we no longer see that delivery drivers, who by the way very annoyingly block up all the convinient and close parking spots all the time, are served before us and served quicker...
Read moreNEVER AGAIN!! If I'm seen anywhere near McDonald's at any point in the future, I hope someone will drag me away! After having placed & paid for my order of Medium Fries & a milkshake I had to wait a few minutes to get my order. I thought the delay would be a bit of a bonus because I "assumed" my fries were still being cooked & hadn't sat under the warming lights for 3 days or more! My order was handed over after several minutes of waiting and I set off upon my journey. I tucked into the fries before I'd even left McDonald's forecourt and to my utter shock and grave disappointment the fries were cold and tasted like I imagine frozen chips would taste if you only defrosted them before eating them! I should have returned to complain as I was still on their premises but I couldn't bear the thought of dragging a member of staff away from the obviously interesting chit chat and frivolity going on between themselves. Once home I deposited the offending strips of semi raw potato disguised as freshly cooked French Fries, into my bin! Don't know why I was so shocked by the quality of food churned out by McDonald's since this is certainly not my first encounter with their undercooked (if at all cooked) and cold food they happily deliver up accompanied by their standard salutation of "have a nice day" or "enjoy the rest of your day"!! So perhaps now, after reading this Review, you understand my opening phrase NEVER AGAIN! What a complete waste of £5+...
Read moreStarted off well as it looked and smelled like most MacDonald's you know that smell of my first job and I failed university with warm death. We odered five burgers, chicken strips, McSlurry, coffee & milkshake. The chicken and coffee were actually hot but the milkshake and McSlurry were rather upset as the burgers were the coldest thing on the menu and looked like they had been wrapped by a epileptic elf from the north pole who failed basic gift wrapping. My partner took the burgers back and explained to the staff that the cold bovine party was cold and found it highly amusing when they scuttled in to the back and all she heard from the burger coven was "There Cold There Cold" To be fair the staff brought us some more burgers which we think we're just our burgers that had gone round in the grill / microwave a few times and we're very apologetic. The young lad who looked like a six year old in their dads office outfit spent most of the time walking round like he had a smell under his nose spent most of the juggling his cups and basically ignoring other members of staffs requests for help. We were rotten to him while he was eves dropping on everyone's conversations by changing the conversation to how bad the place was, manager really bad and how we could publish a full page spread in the local paper on the feeling of death in this place and how glad we are that Wendy's is returning to the UK and we will get a...
