Paprika Delight — Restaurant in Oldham

Me and my friend went here last night and took our 2 kids. Everything was fine until we finished our mains. Food was ok yes we've had nicer elsewhere but it wasn't too bad. We asked for a desert menu and asked if it was part of the 5 course deal we had chose. He told us no and got the bill for us. When he returned i asked what the 5 courses was then as we had only had poppadoms & chutney, starter, curry and rice. He told us the poppadoms was one course and the chutney the 2nd course. Obviously we had never heard of it like this before and this wasnt explained when we ordered. I told him if this was the case the waiter should have asked us when we ordered if we wanted chutney because he didn't he just brought it with the popppadoms. He was adamant they was 2 sepetate courses and as i wasn't backing down on the fact we should have been told this then he got the waiter who served us and surprisingly this waiter told us infact he was wrong and hadn't been there that long and that's how they did it at his old work. Regardless of this he clearly needs to learn the menu a bit better then doesn't he. So after this was all settled he told us the coffee was actually the 5th course. Okay thats fair enough HOWEVER we never recieved this coffee so really we paid for a 5 course meal and receieved 4. He also argued the fact he had given us 4 poppadoms instead of 2. He said he'd gave 2 free because of the kids. That may be so BUT that was your decision as our waiter to do so we did not ask you to do this. Therefore it is VERY unprofessional to try and throw this back at us when we query your colleague. Will not be returning and will not be recommending you to anyone we know. We weren't the only ones to have issues either as the lady on the table in front of us also complained. The place was pretty much empty and I am not suprised your customer service...

Just left here and it's an amazing find. On a side street off the main road through Chadderton. Best Indian meal I've had in a while. I suppose it helps with the restaurant being a bit quiet early on a Sunday evening, Derby day as well! But the service was great but not too fussy. Now the best bit, the food, all cooked very well and the lamb in the mixed starter the best lamb I can remember having. Chicken tikka rogan josh just amazing. Fantastic prices too. Just go and find out...

Always enjoy our meals here. The five course deal is great value and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. There can't be many restaurants where the chef comes out of the kitchen to welcome you back and to thank you for coming.
