Greggs — Restaurant in Oldham

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my recent experience at this Greggs location was unacceptable. I recently visited and unprofessional the staff were — particularly two employees named Jake and Linda.

From the moment I walked in, neither of them acknowledged me. They were clearly in the middle of a personal conversation and made no effort to pause it while serving. Jake seemed irritated when I asked a question about what was still available, and Linda rolled her eyes when I requested my order to be warmed up. There was no politeness, no smile — just a sense that I was inconveniencing them by being there.

To make matters worse, my order was wrong. I asked for a bacon roll and got sausage instead, and the coffee was barely lukewarm. When I brought it up, Linda just said, “Well, that’s what’s left,” and walked away.

I’ve been a regular customer at other Greggs locations and never had an experience like this. Management needs to seriously look into the customer service standards at this branch. I won’t...

Like the coffee, but meat in pasties ect is halal which is fine for those that choose halal. Non halal eaters are not informed & are blind to the fact its halal. Why is it not labeled as such so we all can have a choice? It's not labled because you know most animal lovers would choose not to eat halal. People would be horrified at the way the shops & supermarkets deceive them...

I have been going to this store on a daily basis for years. I’ve always meant to leave a review but never have. The staff here are so lovely.
