Update on 26.9.2023.... today i left feeling very dissapointed... i ordered a breakfast i was really enjoying it and half way through i picked up a peice of bacon and started eating it to taste tomatoe ketchup all over it. I dont like ketchup so was very confused . I felt like this had been taken of someone elses plate and recycled. There was no explanation for it and this really put me off so i didnt finish my food and still got charged full price. I did tell the staff member again, but they said there is nothing they can do as the manager isnt in and they could get the manager to ring me but they will only appologise too. I said there is no point then. I wont be rushing back after that. What a shame. I would of been happy to at least get this for half price ot anything , but just to say sorry... ewwww feel sick eating someone elses leftovers.. then the manager appeared and was so rude the way she dealth with me i was sat down and she come and stood over the top of me and i could hardly stand up. She said well they gave you a new proce of bacon fidnt they. They did but by that time, i had already been served someone elses leftover food. She then said well you vould of got a full new one... stop arguing with me. It is wrong ehat happened and it should of been rectified straigh away instead of after an argument... wow....... I wont be back. I'm a very polite girl as you can see my previous review I have loved it here bit not now just something so small can really change people's opinion.
Came here because I used to go to the village Manor restaraunt in uppermill. And wasnt to disapoint as it sells the same veg soup and that is the main reason I go. Read moreI get my breakfast sandwiches from here pretty much every morning and my past 3 orders over the past week have really put a stop to me wanting to order from here , first problem was when I realised that my same exact order on 3 days running was coming out at different prices , which is the case with a lot of the products on the menu that seem to fluctuate in prices every 2 weeks roughly (usually when something becomes popular) , but I wasn't about to complain as I thought due to the quality of the food then a bit extra here and there doesn't bother me knowing I will be getting a good breakfast, second would be Friday just gone where I ordered my exact same set of sandwiches again but upon opening one of them I was slapped in the face as what I could only compare at the time to the smell of wet dog which was later confirmed by one of my colleagues ( an ex chef ) that it was indeed out of date onion , again mistakes happen but yesterday my other colleague received their order with again a portion of out of date onion.
I feel this type of service is completely out of order and I would greatly appreciate a reply on what will be done to rectify these problems I...
Read moreWouldn't let me pre order for a couple of days before Christmas, (not Christmas Eve as advertised on Facebook site) and was told first come first serve basis so arrived early, limited what I could order and then missed items off my order and I only realised when I got home. Rang them up and the customer service was rude, didnt want to accept any fault and had to travel another 20 min journey just to get what I ordered. Spoke to manager and seems to accuse me of leaving the items as they are on the counter still!? But it was the assistant who passed everything to me already bagged up. Since realised been charged for another item that wasnt given to me. I appreciate it is a very busy time but a little courtesy and good customer service ...
