This is a cute dessert cafe with an Instagram-friendly pastel retro theme. There's a good deal more space than you'd think looking in from outside. I had a spinach/goats cheese/mushroom crepe and Biscoff ice cream sundae, which were delicious. It was a bit cold indoors for my liking (mind that I came on a cold winter evening), but otherwise the place has a very casual atmosphere and is great for taking the kids. I will say that service was quite slow at times because the servers were mostly occupied with a VIP/large group of over a dozen people, and spent a lot of time around a laptop organizing shifts for the next week. While this is certainly an important task, I think having one server free to attend to the non-VIP customers would have been helpful, as it took me a good 20 minutes after finishing my food to be able to ask for the cheque. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, though, and very patient with how long I spent looking over the menu. I think that if I hadn't been dining solo or if I'd had a book with me, I would have been perfectly happy with my experience. I suppose it's the fact that I just wanted to be in and out very quickly that made the waiting a bit tedious. Overall, I'd say this is a great place to go if you've got time to kill. I think I'll be back again when I'm less eager to get back home.

It was okay. I felt like all dessert places sell the same thing. The menu was absolutely massive. If you like a lot of choice, you’ll love it. If you’re indecisive (like me) it might be your worst nightmare. I’m pretty sure their walk in fridge/freezer is in the garden so it was pretty noisy when we sat there. Customer service was good, but didn’t stick out to me too much. I had their strawberry cheesecake, which was served in a plastic cup and felt very store bought. I also had their mojito mocktail and did not like it at all. It tasted like overly sour lemonade with no mint and no fizz. They do have really pretty interior decoration though and their booths are nice and comfortable.

I love an afternoon tea so I try out lots of different places. Today I went to Temptations for the first time. It definitely won't be the last time. It was absolutely WOW!! You first have to pick which cheesecake you want from a large range, I eventually chose chocolate orange, my friend has pistachio. Both were ridiculously amazing! The sandwiches were made fresh while we waited, the sausage roll was warm, the brownie, beautifully moist and the scones were large and light. I'm trying hard to think of a negative....nope, can't think of a single thing. You want a really lovely afternoon tea experience, try this place!

Third Time at Temptations – Disappointed and Not Coming Back!

We’ve had bad experiences here twice before, but we decided to give it another try today after a few months. (We must be mad!)

The service was awful. I can’t entirely blame the young staff—they seemed overwhelmed. Not because the place was busy (there were only about 6 people), but likely due to a lack of training and knowledge.

We had to wait at least 15 minutes for our food. Then, the salad my husband ordered without garnish came with garnish. When we pointed it out, the young chef looked confused. He didn’t seem to understand what a plain salad meant, and we had to explain it.

Once he understood what we wanted, it took another 25 minutes just to replace the garnished salad with a plain one.

As for my dish—it was supposed to come with coleslaw. I saw the girl behind the counter take coleslaw from a pre-opened, store-bought packet and put it on my plate. Very disappointing!

Also, we ordered one pot of tea because only my husband wanted it, but I asked for an extra cup so I could have a sip. I was told they only provide one cup per pot of tea. Really?

Not coming again—**not ever! It’s no surprise there weren’t many people here on a Saturday afternoon, especially when the other places in Subdued were packed—which is what actually made us come here in the...

Came in earlier today after several negative experiences in the past we thought we would give it another chance.

Never again!

I could go into go into so much detail about things we have witnessed and personally experienced coming here but it's pointless. All I can say is there is no management in this place and it shows every single time! Minus one member of staff who seemed to be picking up everyone else's slack and appologising for others mistakes the others seemed like they just needed guidance and proper training and it's been the same every time we have come. Long story short we ordered food, my daughter's icecream cone came but we were left waiting for waffles and a tiramisu, a second person comes over and asks us again within 2 minutes of our initial order what we had ordered to then put the wrong cutlery on the table. Over half an hour later another staff member asks us what we ordered as nothing is on the system.

By this point we were bored of waiting so politely asked to pay for the icecream and not bother reordering the other desserts. (This has happened on more than one occasion in the past and didn't want to wait any longer)

The lady offered my daughter's icecream for free because she couldn't find it on the system (thankyou for this at least) but no...
