Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Great starbucks, wish there was one that was a drive thru closer to Waterlooville but this is the closest. I find this branch alot better than Village Hotel one. Came in to order a new Oat chocolate and orange Latte.. these are amazing! Can't wait to try the others in this collection. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The lady who works there guided me towards a free sample of a range of coffee they have paired with a sample of cookie.

I am not one to drink black coffee but after the coffee expert explained the pairing and all the knowledge behind the coffee, I had to try. I was pleasantly surprised! It tasted just as she explained.

I spoke to her more in depth about the other coffees they do and ended up walking away with a blend of coffee called Verona as the chocolate taste appealed to me. She blended the beans for me to use in my cafetiere at home. At the £4.50 price I think this is well worth it and am yet to try, but have high hopes.

Went in and had a soya latte and a vegan wrap warmed up. The staff were miserable and just can't be asked to do anything. Must be hard though to keep smiling all through the shift, but grating customers and new customers is important. It's what keeps them coming back. The soya drink tastes like fish. And I'm wondering if it was real cows milk or if the soya milk was off. Had one sip and left the rest. The wrap was nice but not really what I call warmed up. Good customer service. Barista made the drink exactly as ordered, and was friendly. The location itself is not to mistaken as the one nearby in the Hotel. This branch is near the Subway in the business park, so no issues with parking, accepts Starbucks Rewards but as a result is slightly more expensive than the regular stores, similar to the stores in the...
