Crafty Beggars Ale House — Restaurant in Preston

Changed my review on this place for good reasons I've never been messed around so much by a pub first of all this pub is a hour's walk from the city centre so I'm extra upset how much time it's took me to go in there one week with my polecats have a over priced pint but received a lovely welcome from staff and customers to a week later go in again after the 2 miles walk to then be told I'm not allowed in with my polecats for no legitimate reason they don't serve food and allow dog's in anyway a week later I get told I'm allowed in again if I sit out the back where people smoke bit of a insult but I did the same 2 mile walk again and when I arrived they said I'm not allowed my polecats in even out of the back this is very unprofessional and total communication breakdown from management to staff and has ruined 3 day's of beer drinking for me I'm not...

Absolutely fantastic local bar. Serving some of the best real ales ever made. They are now doing some absolutely amazing freshly made pizzas. They go down perfectly with you favourite tipple.

They have many other drinks that they serve also. Including lagers. Ciders and some fantastic wine. The wine menu is the best I have found around in a long while. Thry also have a fantastic range of spirits and if you dont fancy anything big to eat they also have some great bar snacks aswell.

The staff here are so friendly and cant do enough to make you feel welcome. Thry have a such a great knowledge of what they are selling and the local area. This is not one place you want to miss put on coming to. Weather you live in the area or not.

Also it is a dog friendly bar. And even your favourite companion can get themselves some nice treats...

This is the craft ale spot that Preston deserves! It's hip, it's ideally located, and by-gum it's the best assortment of beer for miles around. You get the best local cask ales (save yourself some beer miles!) And then a fantastic assortment of exotic beers for the adventurer in you. The staff is friendly and offered me great recommendations. They seem to take great care of the lines as well! That makes a big difference!
