Mr Pizza — Restaurant in Redditch

My son 13 and niece 16 ordered through just eat and paid on her card whilst I was at work. Following a long wait with no food they phoned the shop and they said they had tried to deliver it but couldn’t find the house. I live down a private lane with 5 properties on there it’s not hard to find. They were then told they ll deliver it again but it will cost an extra £5 cash. I then get a call at work to say the delivery driver was stopped by my ex partner at 10pm on the lane with the two children in his car taking them to a cash point. I haven't tried the pizza, but I ordered a chicken biryani and a lamb curry with rotis, all really excellent quality... Meat on the bone for lots of flavour & nutrition (much better than chicken breast) and melt in the mouth texture. Excellent spice balance.

The curry menu appears to be batch cooked earlier in the day and then reheated to serve - This is no way to the detriment of quality, if anything the improves the dish as it's had time to sit and let the flavours develop, so it's much more like home cooking than restaurant-style food. Especially with the bones and bits of collagen etc.

The prices are also very reasonable.

This will be my go-to place to satisfy my curry cravings....

Disgusting customer service - these guys have left the order outside in the rain and didn't inform us that they were delivered. When we checked outside, the boxes were wet and had slugs on them and inside!!! When we called them to ask why they did not ring the bell, the person who answered kept interrupting us and blaming it on us because we didn't hear the driver knock. Somehow, they did not think about ringing the bell. Refused to give a refund although we have ordered from them countless times before and when told that this would be the last time we will order from them, they told us that they are happy to hear that.
