Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our visit to the Joshua tree for Sunday Lunch. Firstly although our table for 9 was booked and confirmed for 1pm we arrived and the restaurant was closed. I went round the side and bumped into a man who then opened the restaurant his excuse was that they had an outside catering job for 200 - clearly forgot about his inside catering job! Not a good start. The restaurant heating was off so it was extremely cold (10 Deg C max) and we sat for 2.5 hours with our coats on waiting for our food to arrive. Yes two and a half hours!. What did arrive was very mediocre - no actually it was appalling - and was also on the cold side, like the restaurant. Service was non existent as it appears that satisfying Deliveroo/Just Eat orders was their priority. Just getting another round of drinks was an effort. The popadom accompaniments were just weird, runny syrup mango chutney (no chutney), fluorescent green mint sauce, and strange chopped up onion with other bits? Very cheap and nasty. But with nothing else to eat we tucked in. When our main eventually arrived it was not much better looking, very unappetizing indeed, zero effort in presentation plonked on the table without even an apology. The Onion bhajis were dry cold balls of stodge, which sort of sums up the care and attention which went into the whole meal. It's quite unbelievable how low the standard of food was. They could not make it any worse if they tried. This is not a restaurant it's a factory for delivery companies, if you are expecting a quality English Indian meal with the usual excellent service Indian restaurants are know for you will be disappointed. I am not sure what restaurant some of the other reviewers had been to but it wasn't The Joshua Tree. In fact the food photos of the other reviews look different, perhaps at the weekend the owners hand the business to the muppets. I was totally embarrassed to have taken my family there. £250 of disappointment. It will be interesting to see if they can be bothered to reply to this review. Shocking!

Do yourself a favour and visit this newly opened Indian restaurant/ pub in Earlswood. Incredible food with an extensive menu of North Indian Street food and South Indian traditional dishes. Hospitable hosts, beautiful presentation and the most delicious pineapple mocktails(!) I recommend it to everyone. They catered impeccably to my gluten free eating requirements and were quick to offer me rice in lieu of the naan. The ambiance is very welcoming, yet charming. The new owners have softened the decor adding pretty blinds at the windows and low soft lighting in the back space. With the addition of the new sign outside and a stunning lick of paint, you can't miss it. Plus you can still have drinks on the common opposite. I was honoured to be invited to the Grand Opening, along with the owner's family & friends, a smattering of local councillors and the Mayor and Mayoress of Reigate & Banstead (scroll to photo 4). I was served by owner Tony and Mia. They made us feel very welcome and gave us an amazing experience and ultimately left a great taste in my mouth!

This pub might look very classic British with its regulars in their familiar spots and an array of ales for all tastes, but the food is anything but. I was here at least 4, maybe 5 years ago now and it wasn't the best, but close family visit here a lot. They always have good things to say so we went for a landmark birthday. Despite the place looking a bit odd for covid-19 times, it's just the norm now and the staff still make you feel welcome. The food is extremely good quality, worthy of a place in London at least. It's fresh to order and make with a lot of care as they deal with a lot of fish which requires some finesse. I really give out for chefs, they're doing a fantastic job. The whole place is, as it was busy despite what is going on, but you're not going to give up on a place just because of that, are you? Stop by for just a glass of fresh pilsner or some smooth prosecco but I highly recommend you get some food; you won't be disappointed.

Had a delivery from here last night they delivered wrong food after speaking to two different people ? How can a chicken curry be mistaken for a varutharacha chicken curry ? The food was very dark in colour and very oily . The meal we had for two was expensive and was charged 20 per cent tax on top as well for delivery ?. All in all extremely disappointed about the whole experience after reading all the good reviews ..Been eating Curry's for 40 years all over London and this place certainly is not any where near up to scratch will definitely not ordering from here again wrong order oily food and very expensive not much more I can say be warned. oh and the fella answering for delivery speaks very little English £44.65 for 2 chicken curries 1 boiled rice 1 Bombay potato 1 aloo Gobi 1 keema nan 1 plain nan Very pricey Would like to point out after your reply that there was no discussion regarding the different chicken curry so that's untrue. The man I spoke to didn't speak good English I was passed on to a young lady and no discussion whatsoever was made re the curry you sent that I never ordered. I have not made any false claims all very true. As for refund how would I have a card machine to get refund I'm not a business ? Funny how you can take a payment on your machine but cannot do a refund on your machine ?? I'm more than happy to come to your premises to get refund , Also nothing was mentioned regarding £5 delivery charge another untrue statement. Just updating the situation after complaint nothing was ever refunded .. No wonder the restaurant is empty every night of the week including weekends .. Please don't waste Ur money in this expensive below par...

I have had the pleasure of visiting The Joshua Tree Pub/Restaurant not once, but twice, specifically to enjoy their Sunday roast. After these experiences, I can confidently say that I highly recommend this establishment. The Joshua Tree provides a delightful pub experience with its delicious food and quintessential atmosphere.

First and foremost, the food at The Joshua Tree Pub/Restaurant is simply fantastic. The Sunday roast, in particular, is a standout dish that left a lasting impression. The meal was expertly prepared, showcasing the chef's culinary skills and attention to detail. The meat was tender and flavorful, accompanied by perfectly cooked vegetables and a mouthwatering gravy. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, and it was evident that great care was taken in the preparation and presentation of the food.

The atmosphere at The Joshua Tree perfectly embodies the charm and warmth typically associated with traditional pubs. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a welcoming ambiance that invites relaxation and enjoyment. The cozy interior, dim lighting, and wooden furnishings create a comfortable setting where guests can unwind and socialize. Whether you're looking to have a casual conversation with friends or enjoy a quiet meal alone, the pub atmosphere is conducive to both.

Furthermore, the staff at The Joshua Tree Pub/Restaurant deserve commendation for their friendly and attentive service. On both of my visits, the staff members were welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations, creating a sense of...
