Greggs — Restaurant in Rochdale

Visited this Greggs en route to Leeds. Ordered an omelette baguette, got into the car and realised it had mold on the baguette itself. Returned it to the staff, and despite the fact I'd had cause to return it, I have to say the staff dealt with it very well. It was Sunday 17th Feb between 10.30 and 11.30am. The lady who served me both with the purchase and returned product dealt with me in a professional and personable way. Basically she immediately offered me a refund and said "what can I do to fix this" which is exactly right when dealing with complaints. I was offered a replacement, offered alternative items both food and drink. I already had a coffee so she gave me a complimentary coffee voucher so I can use elsewhere. These things do happen, but it's the manner in which it's dealt with that makes all the difference. This issue wasn't the staff members fault, but by her apologising and offering to do whatever she could to remedy the situation, I left feeling valued as a customer and with a genuine apology. Dear readers, this Greggs is simply amazing. Deliciously prepared and served with a huge smile. If you're passing through, stop in. Breakfast for £3.55 (tasty hot bacon bap + delicious coffee). I'm usually quite fussy, but this time Greggs really pleased me. Maybe they have an excellent team. I was there on June 11th, 2024 at 10:30 am. Please thank this company's team. Bought a ham and cheese baguette, as I do most mornings on my way to work, however this particular morning the que was rather long, after eventually purchasing my baguette, working my arse off all morning, hungry and in need of my greggs, I pull out my baguette to find that someone has taken a bite! Disgusted and now very hungry. BIRCH SERVICES!!!
