The White Hart — Restaurant in Rochdale

The App was appalling so confusing! the wifi was appalling thus making the App extremely slow (No mobile phone signal, not Pubs fault but highlights the need for good wifi)..ended up going to the till as the wifi was spinning and spinning... lady behind the bar explained that the wifi is poor in certain area's of the pub thus better doing it manual! (total experience 30 mins to try to place an order or 3 mins to order at till).

Now I come onto the omg! the most disgusting food we've ever experienced! we wen't for the 5 starters for £17 and some sweet potatoes fries everything came burnt and smelt terrible! soaking in fat! however we took the punishment of eating the burn't fries/chicken wings and fried halloumi! as no staff came anywhere near asking how our food was? the corn/mushroom's/Calamari, words just can't describe the horrible smell, taste , texture! again burn't and swimming in fat! felt as if every single plate was all put in the same dirty chip-fat oil which has been there for months??? we just could't believe that a restaurant could be serving and getting away with such poor and disgusting....dare I say food!

We put all the plates away from us waiting and waiting for someone to clock that we weren't happy with the food! so many staff kept on walking by and nothing! we even put our coats on and stood up waiting and still nothing! I then decided to call a team member over! she looked at the food we stated it was disgusting and asked if it's all cooked/fried together? she replied "yes..and sorry" then walked off and carried on with her work. so we decided to go home and...

Lovely welcome as we entered. Was asked if wanted a table for 4- replied no thanks not yet as we are waiting for another.

We was told ok well can you move and go into the bar area so you are not taking up space.

Ha we hadn’t even had chance to get through the door.

Miserable bar staff, beer was flat, no straws for the kids, and to be quite honest looking at the food being dished out I’m glad we was treated so rudely and left as it looked pretty poor.

Atmosphere? What atmosphere just a bunch of miserable faces in a miserable pub.

Never mind there is a MUCH better pub with MUCH better food 15 second drive up the road 👍👍👍

Makes The Hornet in rochdale look like a 5* Michelin restaurant which should sum this place up.

I know it’s in Heywood but to get treated like your a leper from Oldham is disturbing. I may not sleep tonight 😂😂😂 we are now sat outside freezing with our flat beer... marvellous experience!

But a midget wearing a bright orange has just told us what do you expect you are in the middle of Heywood, Langley and Middleton...inbred capital of Europe... I love it here really! See u next week for more ignorance.

I called in here today as I was passing , went in the bar and ordered my meal with a glass of coke told them I was sitting outside and was given a wooden spoon with a number on . Then I waited for 20 minutes a lady finally came to the table and dropped a meal on it, I said that's not mine to which she replied you ordered it didn't you, I said no I ordered sausage mash peas and gravy and what she brought was a grill of some sort with gammon and egg chips and other stuff. She then said that's what you ordered. Now maybe it's me but sausage mash and peas with gravy doesn't even sound like what was on the plate so without an apology she took it away and 15mins later a young girl brought what I ordered out to me no condiments no cutlery no napkins. All in all shocking service if I could give no stars I would. I gave 2 stars for the food it was eatable there wasn't a lot 2 table spoons of mash a tablespoon of peas 3 sausages for £11.75 with a small glass of coke. I thought it was not worth it. Will I go...
