Imli restaurant heywood — Restaurant in Rochdale

We came on new years eve. When we arrived were greeted to the boom of dj Kazza D, couldnt hear a thing. Our table was not set up for the required amount of guests. Waitress just walked off and guest had to go and find their own chair. After we had ordered, I conplained after an hour and a half that all we had eaten was a poppadom and no one had been round to take more drinks orders. Our table was booked for 8pm and our main food arrived roughly around quarter past 10. Over 2 hours waiting for food to keep being told our table was next but watching waiters with trolleys of food going to all other tables. RUDE MANAGER would not go here! Actually walked out without eating here. Pre booked brought our taste card followed the rules of the taste card to be told off the manager he can refuse bookings if he wants to on the day because it’s a Saturday which is extremely laughable arguing with us infront of other customers which is extremely embarrassing. We chose Imli for my graduation meal. Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy it at all. We ordered 2 lamb tikka masalas which were overcooked and did not taste of anything. I tried to switch one of them and the waiter tried to make me keep them by saying “that’s how tikka masala tastes”. The chicken Bhuna did not taste of anything. Asking to switch one meal out of three did seem reasonable to us but not to the restaurant. The restaurant did not even seem bothered when we left and all three portions were not eaten at all.
