Extremely disappointed with our shocking experience today. No idea where to start!! We visit Heywood Wetherspoons around once a month usually it’s ok. Todays visit was absolutely shocking We ordered on the app staff came to tell us some items were not available so what else did we want when I asked I was told whatever 😡 Then when our food arrived I was given chips with my sandwich when we asked for no chips but salad on the app. Not once did a member of staff come to ask us was everything ok with our food because it wasn’t at all the burger and sandwich was extremely bland. We then ordered some drinks through the app again and ordered real ales this all went through then some time later another member of staff appeared to say we don’t have the ales so yet again we had to pick something else. Was in wetherspoons about 3.30 I bought a pint and a fresh orange juice with a slice for my partner , as we were drinking up my partner went to eat her slice of orange & when she bit down on it felt a crunch between her teeth, thought it must be a pip or a filling had come out but it was a piece of glass, then she noticed a piece of broken glass in the bottom of her glass I went & informed them straight away & they didnt really seem very interested I understand that accidents happen but would have expected them to be more concerned as it could of been quite serious if my partner has swallowed the...

Working class pub, ok a bit of bad language here & there but overall earthy friendly locals. Beers on the day (when I visited) were mainly Moorhouses (albeit a good choice) but for me they're far too generic. Luckily they had Phoenix Arizona on tap so my day was saved. Pleasant enough staff, although annoyingly I was served a couple of short pints. Sadly the toilets had suffered from some vandalism but no complaints with the cleanliness. Overall, much better than a few of the local pubs but the beers (although well conditioned) lack any imagination & choice, so there is room for...
