I had seen the street sandwich board but then someone recently recommended it so i had a chance to pop in for a coffee and was very pleasantly surprised. You walk off a narrow street and road of terrace houses into a cafe fit for the city centre! The theme seems to be wood, cosy, homely but not a dated look. Apparently it's usually busy but, perfectly for me, i had the place to myself.. peace! I only had coffees and took a selection of home homemade cakes back to work. There was a menu with a large selection of sandwiches etc and the lady was taking telephone orders for parties too. Clean quiet friendly. Food excellent, tea great and the welcome beyond the ‘extra’ mile for hospitality. We now have fond memories to take back to New Zealand....
