My Family Kitchen — Restaurant in Rochford

This was the second time we’ve ordered from here via just eat. Nice food the first time. Second time we wouldn’t know as when we called to check where our order was (had ordered 1 hour 10 before which was fine but then got a notification to say it was going to be late). The guy on the phone was short and rude and snapped at me when I mistakenly said I’d ordered 15 mins before we actually did. I asked politely if the order could get to us ASAP (even said please!). The guy put the phone down and then minutes later cancelled our order. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary way to respond. Not the way to run a business. Shocking in fact. And just to be even more unprofessional they are now not...

I placed an order through just eat. Order was confirmed by restaurant and said it would arrive at 9.05pm which would be an hour after I ordered. At the time my order was meant to arrive, I received a text and email saying my order has been cancelled. I called the restaurant to see what had happened and they were not very apologetic and said they can't even see that I had an order in the first place; it wasn't on his pad? This was my first and last time ordering from them, really...

Totally wish I'd read reviews here and not impressed that Just Eat hasn't caught on to this. Like one of the other reviews below, ordered food from here (through Just Eat) at 5:55pm, confirmed within minutes. Then at 7:00pm, when it said it was supposed to be delivered, got a text saying the order had been cancelled because the driver couldn't find our house?! Total lies! I would definitely not recommend ordering from here unless you want...
