I recently had the pleasure of dining at Frankie's at the Beach, and I cannot say enough good things about this hidden gem! From the moment I approached the stall, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for an unforgettable experience.

Service: The service at Frankie's was simply outstanding. The staff was not only attentive but also genuinely enthusiastic about their menu. They took the time to recommend some of their favorite dishes, and their passion for the food really shone through. It’s rare to find such a combination of efficiency and warmth, especially in a bustling beach setting.

Location: Of course, the location is the cherry on top. Situated right on the beach, the stall provides the perfect backdrop of sun, sand, and surf. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a tasty meal while listening to the sound of waves crashing nearby. It truly enhances the dining experience and makes you feel like you’re in paradise.

One of the best burgers I've ever had! Frankie's has a well earned reputation as one of the best places in the area, and we had to visit to try for ourselves. We've recently been to a couple of award winning premium burger restaurants in Rotterdam, and Frankie's is right up there with the very best in the business. We had a couple of the venison burgers and a chicken burger, and shared a MASSIVE portion of loaded fries between 3 of us. We all really enjoyed the burgers and the beach setting - one side you can watch the wind-farm turbines generating for the local area, the other side the kite surfers zipping along the waves. Frankie's also looks like they've taken some steps to be more sustainable, wooden cutlery and a minimising plastics where they can. The venison burgers were from a local farm, served in a quality brioche bun. We were asked if we wanted salad in the burger - a nice touch at reducing food waste for those who (like me) tend to pick out the gherkins etc. that often get put in burgers whether you want...

After reading the reviews for Frankie’s we absolutely had to go with our three small kids. It did not disappoint! We had chilli burger, plain burger and Stilton burger and a frankfurter. And a ton of chips! Everything was cooked fresh for us and lots of care and attention paid to each meal. Sitting out on the benches by the beach as the sun set…pure holiday heaven. Be warned - while google says open til 8 pm (and it maybe on the weekend or in peak season) we turned up one evening at 6.40pm as it was closing…but we called the next night to make sure it would be open (nothing like the disappointment of very hungry children!) and the owner (assuming it was Frankie himself?!! But don’t quote me!) not only made sure that the kiosk was open but came down to see if we were happily served! Now that is customer service!
