We arrived at kent & East Sussex steam railway & first train had been cancelled, we were hungry & discovered the hideaway cafe over the road. What a gem, the lady owner was very friendly & we had a cheese & ham toastie & two cups of coffee, a muffin & all very tasty. We had a lovely chat with her & she produced doggy treats for our little dog. As it was a very hot day, there is seating under a wooden awning the whole length,at the back of the garden. We also bought a plant as the cafe is a plant nursery as well. The owner said she only opens the cafe on train days, as otherwise road is very quiet.
