Been to The Hub before and it’s a fab spot for Brunch on a fine day / inside the barn, with its metal walls, can be pretty noisy when busy and lack of views make it less attractive than outside of course. The quality of the food is great; the. Breakfast sausage and bacon is really tasty and clearly not cheap rubbish! It’s pretty pricey! Make sure you ask for drinks (coffee) to be hot or they come just warm…. Sadly, on this visit, service was a bit poor. It took several requests for milk to come way after the drinks had been delivered and the lad actually delivered the milk & oatmilk separately! Two trips! Worst of all was that the breakfasts were cold. The plates were stone cold, and the bacon barely warm. The tomatoes were completely cold and the sausage also just warm. We did point this out and they did offer to heat them up, but then the fried eggs would’ve been overcooked, so we declined & just ate up. Rather disappointing. We will go again but will be sure to request properly hot food! They also need to have a system for paying that doesn’t clash with the queue of arriving customers...

Came for a family brunch as had been told The Hub is particularly good. Thankfully it was a lovely day so we got to sit outside on the benches and enjoy the atmosphere.

I ordered the pulled pork burger, and my family had the nachos, and English breakfast. The food is sourced locally so good for your carbon footprint!

My burger was good, but was so juicy it had made the bun slightly soggy as I had my chips before making a start on it. Despite that it was still delicious, I just needed to wash my hands after! I also had some of the English breakfast and nachos. The meats on the breakfast were brilliant, definitely high quality. The nachos had peamole (guacamole but made with peas) which was a pleasant change and made the nachos have a very fresh feel to them.

The portion sizes were really good too, the nachos were practically a sharer!

There's a play area for children to run around in too so it is great...

We enjoyed a veggie brekkie, I'd say a very good size portion and good value for money (with a side of bacon for the little one!). My coffee was ok, but came slopped all over the saucer. As it was a glorious day we sat outside but the wasp situation was a little disconcerting! I'd say they could/should get some wasp deterrents? It would definitely improve the customer experience. The shop is to die for and the whole set up is so beautiful. I'd definitely go again, but maybe sit inside for the meal and then head outside. It's set in a completely idyllic surroundings and I also would look to camp here as a local venue with the kids. Thanks for having us, your place is...

Really really nice place! A good walk if you are camping nearby. The food is really tasty and very fresh. The veggie breakfast was excellent and so was the eggs Florentine. The salads are also lovely. The staff here are very friendly and a bonus it's dog friendly! Would highly recommend for breakfast, brunch or lunch as lots of different options. The little gift shop inside is sweet and also the range of pastries look delicious. If I lived closer I would definitely be revising. My only issue was the time of the food and drinks. We had food arriving before drinks and also two meals arriving after everyone had finished.
