5* TOP BREAKFAST CAFE. A lot of local talk about this place led me and the crew to hit this hub for a breakfast on a rainy Friday morning. First thing is that it’s got a big carpark which was almost full. Always a good sign. The business is a large commercial unit which consists of a large quantity of tables and chairs. There’s plenty of spaces, but these were almost full when we went at around 930 am so be prepared to wait a while if there’s it’s full. Clients tend to be more workers and groups rather than couples. It seems that if there’s no tables, your place around the window bar table area until one comes free. Staff ‘chloe and Millie’ were very quick at coming to serve and get us seated. An extra table was needed which was bought over quickly. The menus are presented in a nice folder, and clean! Always a must in my eyes. The whole business is well presented and tables are cleaned and tidied away quickly when clients leave. A large selection is available with the biggest breakfast costing around £11 but you do get your monies worth. Upto 2 items can be exchanged for any other on the breakfast menu which is good if your not keen on certain items. Tea and coffee arrived swiftly but there was a little wait for the food. It wasn’t too long being they were pretty much full so staff did well. One plate came missing an item but this was quickly replaced within seconds which was a Excellent. There were specials on a board at the back and plenty to choose from. Food came hot and was full of taste. All items were cooked to perfection so we’ll done cooks on juggling that many plates. Overall a well earnt 5 stars and certainly a well presented, clean premises with friendly staff food cafe. Certainly one...

Not like it used to be.

We used to come in nearly every week for breakfast and we really enjoyed the breakfast. So we all decided to come in this week as it was half term with the kids as a whole family.

But this week we were really disappointed & didn't felt welcomed by the waitresses when we came in. We overheard and they were giggling and talking about us. We didn't think it was very professional at all.

We used to love this breakfast and this week we couldn't enjoy this breakfast as we felt we are being watched by those waitresses by the till by the door and there vibes.

Plus the amount of money we spent on it was a total waste sitting in this room with this uncomfortable vibes.

Sadly we won't be...

I must admit, when I was recommended The Works Cafe, I was a bit apprehensive only because you approach it through an industrial estate. But when I reached it, I was pleasantly surprised!!. Large carpark and good disabled access via a ramp. Walk inside to be greeted by very pleasant and friendly staff, shown to a table, you can pre book if you so wish. The menu has a great selection with some very interesting choices!!. Service is quick and the food is delicious, compliments to all involved. Friendly atmosphere with music in the background. You do need to arrive early though to guarantee a table, it is very popular and I can see why!!. A lovely Cafe and lovely staff, I will be back for...

What a cafe!! This place is amazing and I don't know why I have waited so long to go here!!! As soon as we sat down, we got children cutlery and we were welcomed with a smile and friendly faces. We had our own toys but there were puzzles and books on the shelf as well. The food was amazing and reasonable priced! Nothing was too much trouble. Quick service too. Tea in a proper mug as well loving life right now and full up! Family friendly, welcoming and good food!! We will be back indeed!!!

Had seen loads of positive reviews on trip adviser etc, and my garage is meters away, and the car needed a service. Popped in for a light breakfast. Certainly not a greasy spoon! Clean, bright, smells nice, and the waitress ( too old for political correctness), was attentive and in no way a “ Nora batty” type. Sausage wrap, large Americano, £ 3.95. Can’t go wrong The menu is very good- this is a high end cafe to be sure. I will be going back
