Cinamon — Restaurant in Rotherham

When we arrived in Cinamon we were a little worried as there was no one in there and in my experience this is seldom a good sign. We were then seated and not given menu's. After a few minutes the waiter came up and asked us if we were ready to order. I pointed out that we hadn't yet seen a menu so we were struggling to make our minds up. Now we were starting to get worried. The waiter then fetched us two menu's which had quite an extensive range on.

We'd just about chosen what we were having when the waiter who had been tending the bar turned up and asked if we were ready to order. He then asked us if we were ordering from the regular menu or the buffet menu. When we asked what the buffet was it turned out that we could order everything we were going to order on the regular menu but also have an additional side and be charged quite a bit less. This mean't they'd just done themselves out of around £15 and those alarm bells were beginning to ring stridently.

Then the food arrived and we were very pleasantly surprised. It was presented so professionally and it was cooked to perfection. We had a mixed kebab starter, a grilled chicken strips starter, a Peshwari nan, two premium curries, a garlic rice and Bombay aloo and this was all in the buffet price of £22 for two of us. It was all cooked perfectly and we left the place a lot more bloated than we intended to.

One of the best Indian restaurants,in the Rotherham area. Being a Bangladeshi owned family business, makes this quite rare dining experience in the area. It's quite a present surprise there take on Indian cuisine, putting the usual Indian restaurants to shame. The Thursday & Sunday £10.95 buffet,must be the bargain of the century. Just had another meal at cinnamon to celebrate a family member passing a driving test,,,, i can never understand why this place isnt packed out🤷‍♂️ the food is always amazing, & so is the service,,, the atmosphere is relaxed & your not overlooked by other diners, the restaurant is clean & spacious with easy parking at the rear,,, I would reccomend to anyone,,, this remains our favourite place to eat...
