Himalia Take Away — Restaurant in Rotherham

Absolute *hit!! Ordered meat thali and it was terrible the starters looked like they had been in the freezer for about 3 years. Evrything tasted funny like it wasn’t fresh .. the onion bhaji don’t think had ever seen an onion just a load of dry orange powder with a funny taste … the curry’s were terrible. Meat was all over cooked inside the curry’s .. I could actually see burn marks on the chicken threw the sauce. Most of it went in the bin. That’s 20 pound wasted. Also rang and asked for the sweet naan that comes with the meat thali to be changed to a fresh naan instead. This didn’t mean o still wanted the sweet naan and just charge me to add on another plain naan it meant I didn’t want the sweet naan I wanted just a fresh naan and to not be charged for the sweet naan I never wanted. Last time I’ll be coming to himalia. I’ll stick with danyaals in future at Maltby where the price is similar bit at least the quality is there and the food is fresh. Himalia used to be lovely a few years back and now I wouldn’t feed it...

Curry arrived promptly - However that’s about the only positive I can give from the experience Curry was bland Had very little chicken Was full of peppers ..... no chicken tikka I’ve ever had has hardly any chicken and extensive amounts of peppers ? It was borderline tasteless and was like no chicken tikka massala I’ve every previously had ...... Only half a container of cold rice ? Mango chutney has the consistency water (clearly watered down ) And to add insult to injury the popadoms were soft so had clearly been made yesterday or...

First time i have been there did not know it existed and only live up the road from it, This has to be the best Takeaway in Rotherham/South Yorkshire, fantastic Kebab and their Curry's are fantastic this is the best food takeaway we have ever had. The staff are really nice and very well organized fantastic service, great selection on menu, I will be getting all my Takeaway food from there in future its worth 10 out of 10 5 Stars 100% ...Thanks for a great meal.......What more can you say if you don't try it you...
