This has to be the worst KFC I have ever visited. will not return even if someone paid me to.
Our nightmare of a visit started on the 20th April 2018, we decided to have a KFC as it is close by and easy to use. This was not the case on this visit, I went through the drive through and my card got declined even though I had sufficient fund in the account. To double check I parked out of the way and logged in with mobile banking. I went into the shop this time to pay for what I had ordered but even the manager couldn't get this to work. He asked if I knew the pin to it and told me to go and Que back in the drive through. So I sat another 15 minutes in the Que to only have it declined again.
When I got back home we transferred the money into our friends account with no problems and she then drove to KFC.
When they returned back with the KFC all the orders were wrong, gravy's in all the boxes when we wanted beans and corn on the cob. no hot wings even though we had paid for them. we had asked for upgrades and they were standard. I would understand if they had been busy but there seemed to be more staff than customers.
My friend travelled back to get the order changed to what we wanted, when she got back in the car with the food it was all cold to touch, all they had done was put a slice of cheese on the burgers we had taken back and replaced the items that had been missing.
It got took back again and then we complained, the manager said that a slice of cheese would cool the burger down and this is why it was cold. hahahaha what a joker.
We all work in the food industry and we feel that it is not good enough, we felt like the manager who was on was rude and really didn't care about the job he was doing. This was shown by his poor way to deal with us as customers and his attitude in not replacing the meals that we had paid for.
We spend a lot of money at fast food restaurants as we are on the go a lot, but this is one place we will not be revisiting again.
When we drove into the place it was quite and this is probably why, poor service and poor food and a rude manager.
My advice after managing kitchens for the last ten years is to KFC is maybe higher another manager, he didn't know his lettuce from his cucumber. Re-train your staff because they didn't seem to know what they were doing, speed of service is a massive thing in this world we live in we waited a long time for sub-par food.
I am not holding KFC responsible for my card not working, this was just the tip to an all out...
Read moreWe called in to this KFC on our way back home to London after watching the Rotherham v Charlton game. The restaurant was very easy to find, when in there we noticed the store was spotlessly clean, from the tables to the floor to the toilets. The food was really lovely, cooked just right, in fact it was so hot, we couldn't eat it all, so took it home. We have never had chips that hot before, and my wife said her fillet burger was the same. The staff were every pleasant, friendly and efficient, all in all it was one of the best KFC's we have been to , and we have been to loads. Well done to all concerned.
Edited... After posting my review, I just read some other reviews, well the one from 4 months ago couldn't be further from the truth about ours. Either notice was taken and they bucked up 100% or he had a bad one off... I can honestly say our experience...
Read moreCame in yesterday 17/03/24 for takeaway, was not given a receipt at the self service. But we waited for ticket 9009. A young girl gave us our order and we was given a large Pepsi. I put in a bottle of sparkling water but I didn't have a receipt. I explained it should be a bottle of sparkling water, but she just checked on her screen and said no large Pepsi, i Wouldn't drink this because i have a sugar intolerance and told her this, but she would not budge, I didn't want to cause a seen so I told my son to leave it because it was nopoint taking it because i would have just thrown it away.
