Kirby’s Fish Bar — Restaurant in Rotherham

Well I must say what a nice chippy. Run by nice people. I was desperate for water on a call out to a faulty fire alarm. My card bounced ( account rinsed by my now Ex) I then went back to my car. Couldn’t find cash. Ex rinsed me car to. Begged for tap water. They said it’s not nice water. Here you can have bottled.

How embarrassing for me that was. Having earnt a few grand the next day. I returned and gave them a few quid in gratitude. Just shows. I’ve Done well for myself and always usually have money and these guys were kind in my moment of need. I won’t ever forget that.

Very clean local chippy. Food smelled very nice anyways.

I was one of the first customers when it opened as Fish House. Amazing friendly staff and plenty of servings which is a rarity these days ! Went in tonight (17th Feb 23) and still an amazing service and plenty of servings. Far better now one can pay by debit cards 👍 taking off any pressure to make you carry cash. Had my first experience of the new fish house and was underwhelmed. The new renovations are good and a lot cleaner than the last place.l ordered a large cod and chips, can’t knock the size of the fish and very fresh but a large chips was not what I received. At a stretch I had maybe 15 actual chips, I queried who was serving me but was very rudely spoken to about this. I won’t be going here again and any other chippies in the area will give me a way bigger portion for less money and better quality. Very...
