I stopped off at this Subway (M1 North, Woodall) with work colleagues and went to use the Subway app which prompted me for an update.
I completed the update quickly and tried to login - no joy. I used my usual password but still, nothing.
I requested a password reset and put the code into the app - still, nothing.
āThe app isnāt workingā I told the female server and received the reply āyou should have sorted it before you cameā in a condescending and matter of fact manner.
āIāve sorted it. It just never works when I come to use it at Subwayā I countered to receive the reply āIt isnāt the appā¦ā
(For clarity, this app regularly doesnāt work at various locations)
In no uncertain terms, I told the rude, condescending server that her company operates an awful app and gave her less than witty, smarmy remarks short shrift.
I asked for my receipt and kept the error message from the app - if anyone at Subway wants to contact me to look into correcting your serverās poor attitude and sorting what should have been sorted long ago with the app - please feel free.
Oh, and my bottle of water had a hole in the bottom so I was forced to walk back into the services to speak to that arrogant employee once more to change it.
Iāll not be going out of my way to use Subway again...

I then later phoned up after and hour and half checking up on it and they said the delivery driver is out atm so it shouldnāt be much longer. Itās now been 2 hours and the shop is shut and not answering. No refund or re delivery of the correct food !!!! This is absolutely the worst customer service I have received after THEY made a mistake š”. And every time I phoned before Iāve had to phone at least 10 times for them even to pick up. Iāve literally spent over Ā£20 and it was all wrong. I WILL NOT be ordering...

One old woman working on the bread station who was working so hard, rushed off her feet and being lovely to customers. I felt really sorry for her because the other two girls who were decades younger than this lady seemed to be standing around just watching while the old lady did all the work. I went home thinking about it and how wrong it seemed. I hope this hard working old lady is ok and the other two young girls help her...
