The Cafe At The Corner — Restaurant in Rotherham

This morning, we discovered a true hidden gem—a charming, family-run café that serves the most amazing breakfast. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm and cozy atmosphere, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home.

The food was absolutely delicious! The creamy mushrooms were rich and flavorful, the sausage was perfectly cooked, and even the tomatoes—something I usually avoid—were so tasty that I enjoyed every bite. We cleared our plates completely, which says it all! To top it off, the caramel latte, finished with real cream, was pure indulgence.

The service was just as wonderful as the food. Our server was incredibly sweet, polite, and always had a big smile on her face, making the experience even more special. Great local spot! The food was very nice & the service was top notch. Very friendly & welcoming team. My only negative would be that we came in for a late breakfast, around 11:30am & they'd run out of sausages and breadcakes... there's a bakery & co-op less than 100m away, so I would have sent somebody over the road to grab extra supplies, I understand they will have a preferred supplier & want to offer quality produce, but sometimes you've got to resort to plan B. The girls were very caring for several kids that were in at the same time & knew lots of regulars, which is always a good sign. It’s been over a year since I left my last review for Cafe at the Corner. I’d like to think I’m considered a regular here, whether it is popping in any having breakfast with the wife or making use of the place to hold informal business meetings over coffee. It may only be a small little cafe but it is always busy and it’s advisable to book in advance, certainly if you want to sit indoors during the colder weather. Staff are always friendly and accommodating and my favourite meal, the Full English breakfast is always freshly cooked to order and awesome. I will continue to make this my regular local cafe...
