Fantastic Chinese. Ordered the large salt n pepper box which was full of meat and tasted amazing. Portion sizes were huge and great value for money. Also ordered salt n pepper tofu which was crispy and then soft in the middle and full of flavour. Delivery was with in 20 mins of order, very cheap and delivery driver was lovely. Will be our go to Chinese in the future.

Update: it's been I think 4 years of using Happy House and they are still amazing! Their salt and pepper box is just as great as it was when we first started ordering from them, we've tried a few different dishes and have never been disappointed. Quality is 5 🌟 Quantity is 5 🌟 Delivery is 5 🌟 Customer service 5 🌟 Best Chinese by far! And if you order by their direct website you can get points to get money off! My only very small issue is I love their curry sauce and in the salt and pepper box it's got smaller BUT that's just me being greedy, and their curry sauce is the bomb! Wouldn't go anywhere else. Also completely forgot their homemade dumplings (gyoza) are amazing! I just wish they had the vinegar but that's personal preference, it's served with sweet and sour sauce. Normally Happy House is quite good but Just ordered a meal and the person taking the order was so rude and abrupt on phone when I was placing my order and abrupt phone call ending too....maybe last time ordering from there....be nice on the phone to you customers#

We have received a response from the owner blaming the phone system. A faulty phone does not excuse rudeness.... PLUS, we have been RIPPED OFF. We ordered from a menu received in April and calculated the bill to be £43.10. when we ordered over the phone we were advised the bill was £48.60. We queried this, and were told it was probably an old menu. A new menu arrived with the meal, and lo and behold, it was identical in every detail with the menu we had, so I repeat we have been RIPPED OFF. The owner has suggested we message him when we next order, and he will send us a "special meal". As far as I am concerned, we have already been charged in advance for the "special dish", and that is of no benefit as we will never consider ordering from Happy House again, and will share our experince with our several...

Out of all the Chinese takeaways in the Swallownest, Aston, Aughton area this is by far the best.

The food most importantly tastes very good, with generous portions. I would highly recommend the Chef's Speciality of Smoked Chicken. It is by far the best food I have ever gotten from any Chinese and after trying it I can't help but get it every time I order. After introducing it to my family, they also absolutely love it. This hidden gem on the menu is an absolute MUST.

The cost is around average for all takeaways in the area.
