First Time visit for a birthday treat for 5 of us. Normal pub atmosphere, bizzy restaurant area, order at bar. Great level of service. Starters arrived in a timely Manor and did not disapoint. We had 2 combo share platters and it was beautiful, good mixture of items with 3 wonderful dips. Homemade pie was lovely and full of meat and potatoes with mushy peas and chips with a beautiful gravy boat. We didn't have puddings so carnt comment this time. We stayed for a few drinks after in the bar area as it quitened down a bit and enjoyed the background music. Think I might give it a miss...
Read moreReally impressed with Roast Beef Sunday dinner. All fresh vegetables and plenty of variety. There were 5 of us - 4 adults and 1 child. We ordered 4 x roast beef Sunday dinners at 8.95 each and one child version. The meat is sliced very thickly and was so tender it melted in your mouth. The vegetables were served in tureens on the table and included roast potatoes, baby boiled new potatoes, carrots, green beans and cauliflower cheese. You also get a massive homemade Yorkshire pudding and endless jugs of thick homemade gravy and all the condiments you need. Absolutely Fabulous. Outstanding value for money. Will...
