ZAZA Burgers & Pizza — Restaurant in Rotherham

It's very rare that I leave reviews, and even rarer that I leave a bad one, but today I have no option. After years of impressive food and service from this establishment, tonight's was a complete waste of money: food arrived late (I get they can be busy, but it's a far cry from their usual, well organised and speedy service). The big daddy burgers were both not right; missing various sauces and ingredients that made them especially tasty on previous orders. The chips were completely different, and despite me putting the usual message on the order to make them extra crunchy, they were soggy, undercooked and cold. The meals weren't complete: only 1 can of pop between 2 meals, and no pots of aioli sauce.

It was as if we'd ordered from somewhere completely different than before.

It's a shame to leave this review, especially after so many enjoyable orders in the past, but people need to be aware. The quality has seemingly dropped, but the prices are still high.

I will have no problem reviewing this should I find that the quality is back to that of old, but tonight's order has seriously put me off ever ordering...

I recently moved up to Yorkshire from the South East - and apart from the Peak District, this is probably the best bit about it.

Without a doubt the best burgers I've ever had - restaurant or otherwise. Prices are very fair - their homemade aioli is nothing short of phenomenal - as is the seasoning on the chips. Halloumi fries are also awesome! Burgers are customizable as much as you want and they always get it right & observe notes on orders with specific instructions.

Website works great, delivery is always hot and on time (or early), I even went there to pickup an order the other week just to have a nosy and it's very clean, modern and tidy with polite and helpful staff. Genuinely don't have a bad word to say about this place.

Consider putting the Aioli on the menu on it's own (maybe in a pot or in a bottle?) - I literally want to replace my blood with it it's that good. It'd be great to have some in the fridge -...

Ordered almost £70 of food via just eat, never arrived. When called to query they advised they had called, no voicemail left. They had accepted the order despite not having the food in advising that it’s just eat process and they can’t take themselves off the just eat orders. The order had gone through and my money taken even though they knew they’d not fulfill it. We know another business had suspended their orders the same evening and it flagged up to browse only. Called just eat to check if it was true they advised it is down to the takeaway to call them to suspend orders. They’d lied, taken my money and I was looking at waiting 5-7 days for refund. Not good enough, will never look at this place again, accepting orders they don’t have food for, taking money despite this and then to lie to customers is despicable. Just eat cleared it up for us luckily. Don’t bother...
