Wow. Where do I begin. What would you expect from a burger joint set up in a petrol station in Rotherham?. Not much probably...Wrong!! This place is the best hidden gem I've ever found. I have to say its not just about the pure quality of their burger game its absolutely everything on their outstanding menu. The concept is that you have Yo Burger built exactly to you're specifications and when I say exactly I mean that. What is so impressive is the quality of everything that is right there for you to see and pick from. Watching this team from grill Cook to the guy taking you're order to little prep chef one thing is very obvious...These guys take immense pride in their jobs. The manager is so friendly and was happy to answer my barrage of questions about the place which I'm glad I did as I found out he isn't just managing this place (pretty damn well) he actually makes the secret sauces...and Omg this guy has skills. Pleeeeease try the wings. I am a massive fan of most things wing and if I can get my hands on good quality buffalo wings I always grab as many as possible. Hands down the best piri piri sauce I have ever tasted and the effort that has gone into the preparation of the wings, pre cooked in a fired tandoori oven before the sauce is even applied on the coal grill!! Whaaaaat!! Nobody is making the effort these guys are in this area of the food industry.. Please don't stop Yo Burger. I had my eyes shut making some pretty outrages noises over their rice box with piri piri buffalo wings. There is absolutely no way I could do this place the justice it deserves as their menu is unlike any other I have seen for a fast food place. Burgers are just the tip of the iceberg...The Nachos with the beef š¤¤š¤¤ and wait till you try their shakes and Desserts..double š¤¤šševerything is just quality even the ice creams in all their abundance and the flavours are so different and they are locally sourced around South Yorkshire its just so goddam impressive. It may take you that bit longer to order but believe me you will not regret ordering from this amazing little place with a whole new outlook on fast food. One other thing if you order online everything that is cold arrives in a top of the range cooler ice bag and everything that is hot in the same quality heated bag. Everything is as perfect as if you just took you're order off the counter. Bravo and a standing ovation Yo Burger I will see you all next time I'm down from Scotland...Yes guys.. Iām writing this to publicly express how utterly disappointed and frustrated I am with the appalling experience my fiancĆ© and I had at your rotherham, petrol station store.
We went in specifically for your advertised dessert deal: two cookie dough pies for £10 - clearly displayed in the dessert window. However, what we encountered was confusion, disorganization, and a complete lack of basic customer service.
Upon entering, we noticed there was no one at the sweet counter. After waiting several minutes, we walked over to the other counter where staff were present - but no one acknowledged us or offered help, even after we stood there waiting for over five minutes.
With no other option, we used the self-service āOrder Meā machine and ordered two cookie dough pies (Oreo and Bueno). To our shock, the total came to Ā£17.90, and assuming the discount would be applied before final payment (as would be the standard in most sane systems), we paid - trusting the pricing would reflect the advertised deal. It did not.
After waiting another 15 minutes with still no one bringing out our food or even speaking to us, I finally approached a staff member to ask about the issue. Their response? Apparently, we had to order at the āYOHsweetsā counter specifically to get the deal.
What kind of ridiculous system is that? At no point was it made clear that:
The dessert counter was considered a separate entity.
The deal was ONLY valid there.
The self-order machine (which clearly shows dessert options) does not include current deals.
And again: there was NO ONE staffing the dessert counter when we arrived.
As a result, we were misled and overcharged by nearly £8. For cookie dough pies.
This isnāt just about money - itās about transparency, customer respect, and basic operational logic. We came for a simple dessert deal and left feeling ripped off, ignored, and completely dissatisfied.
I expect:
A full refund, and IF not possible at least a full refund of the £7.90 difference.
An apology.
Clarification on how you'll ensure this does not happen again to other customers.
If this is how YOHburger/YOHsweets treats paying customers, it will not surprise me if people choose not to return.

BUT today i went into the restaurant for the first time and i was totally shocked at the state of the place and the service from staff...there was food all over tables and floors..slushi just pouring on the floor from the machine, the staff completely ignored me at counter for 5 minutes then i noticed the machine so used that instead...but got no ticket or receipt for my order so had no idea what id paid or proof of my order..no ticket role in machine..when i told the guy he didn't care...and omg what a hostile environment...not one smile or drop of happiness in this whole place..are these guys prisoners or something š¤i got a complete feeling of resentment like i didn't belong there.. probably because of my ethnicity ...the staff and drivers just wandering in and out dressed like cocaine dealers nobody washing there hands or wearing a uniform or anything...the lad they sent to mop the buckets of slushi up was literally like that bit from coming to America where Eddie murphy tries to mop for the first time.š...then watched him go back to food prep without washing his hands guessing whoever owns the place set some manager on who doesn't give a toss about the image, hygiene or customer service...what a shame because the menu is pretty good...if im not dead tomorrow from eating it il give them another star ā as for the restaurant 5 out of...
