The Rose and Crown is a great village pub, Wolston is incredibly lucky to have a central hub where families can relax and have fun, the kids can play in the garden with a climbing frame all year round and a bouncy castle in the summer, while the adults can socialise. There are always events on for families and adults and Darren and his team work so hard to make these exciting and accessible for everyone.

We’ve just been to the kids Halloween party and what a huge effort, goody bags for all the kids, prizes for fancy dress and a disco! What a great family night out.

The food is always good and very reasonably priced, with a great variety to chose from.

We honestly always enjoy our time there, the team will do their best to help in any way that they can.

Lovely village pub, great staff and very welcoming landlord. Being from a pub background myself I have to say I was impressed by this establishment. There was a slight hiccup with the food order. However, it is a time we're coming out of a global crisis and we're all human so I understood. We're now downloading apps to order food and drinks so it all takes time getting used to new systems. The staff were wonderful and did not hesitate to offer free desserts or drinks. They were also very apologetic. As the general public we all need to understand the pressures of life today. We love the Rose & Crown. A truly lovely young staff that bother to get to know you and have a smile and sense of humour. They try their best for you, it's rarely no they can usually find an alternative. The manager is quiet but always bothers to say hello. There's always a fun thing to do or something coming up, ie Bingo, Quizzes, things in the garden. It's very family oriented. The toilets are clean and warm in the winter. The pool table could do with an overall but, actually, its as fun to alter & adapt your game.
