Popped in for brunch after the kids' swimming lesson this morning. You can park in Sainsbury's car park, ignore the 30 minute limit signs and enter your reg on the Euro Carparks tablet by the till for a full hour to relax and dine. Full English for me and the boy, posh cob for my wife and waffles for my daughter, drinks all round (including a biscoff milkshake described as "the best drink ever" by my lad) and it came to about 40 quid. Superb value for money, the food was all delicious and generously portioned with good service to boot. Everyone left full and happy, and with kids that can be picky sometimes that's a real win in my book. Read moreI visited the Pig and Pudding for the first time last week and unfortunately it will be my last. I was excited to visit the place as I have recently moved to Cotgrave. However, I was hugely disappointed. First of all, the place was quite dirty. The table was badly stained and the overall condition of the place was quite poor (the wall next where I sited had coffee stains all over). We asked the staff to kindly clean our table. Everyone that works there are always so friendly, and they're very accommodating for table bookings too! The menu is fantastic and the food is SO delicious, I'm a big fan of the cake counter too!
