I have been coming here for a few months already , I come mainly for the good service they always offer . I run a restaurant for 12 years so I can see when I place is well run .
However I can also see when an employee or manager does not really have the passion for this job or the drive to please the customers .
I went today (9 February ) in the morning for my usual Cortado coffe and after I drunk it I also bought a Skinny Medium late to take away for my wife .( I have done this many times ÂŁ
There were lots of new staff today but I recognised the girl in charge , she has been there for ages .
I clearly asked her to prepare my drink extra hot as I have to drive back to Camberley .( 5 minutes drive )
When she gave me the coffee I doubled checked "is this extra hot "?"
She thought a couple of seconds about it then she replied "yes ".
As a restaurant manager in the past I know when someone is probably not saying the truth .
In fact when I got home , my wife noticed the difference , as the coffee was not hot at all ( as it can be after 5 minutes drive ) so yes .......disappointed service from someone that should know better .
I hope the manager gets this review and has a word with her , otherwise I will find another Costa coffe to spend my money . And I hope this girl also understands my point of view , I do not mean to upset her just to receive the service I pay for...

Cups and cutlery are filthy. A woman spent 40 minutes wiping down the cake cabinet, while she was slowly taking the cakes out of a plastic tub , she was scratching her hair, ears and wiping her nose on the back of her hand. Just because she was wearing rubber gloves I bet she thought her hands were going to stay clean...
All the staff's clothing was dirty. The male member of staff was wiping down the dirty seats with a cloth, then he used the same cloth to wipe down the tables. He didn't use any antibacterial spray once.
I've added a picture of the toilet and a picture of a dirty tray.
I think this place needs to be closed for a couple of days, to be cleaned properly and the staff trained on hygiene.

Then the next day when they were open again, it was clicked as complete, which was a complete lie! A complete waste of my time and effort.
Took four days of chasing to get a refund from Costa customer services and that only happened after I took to Twitter. Asked about compensation for the whole situation and was told it doesnât fall within their âservice frameworkâ I will never use Costa again, they donât care about customers, give poor customer service even from their customer service team and donât seem to have any contingency...
