All Things Nice Cafe Galashiels — Restaurant in Scotland

I run a small group for adults with learning disabilities and we go out once a fortnight to eat a meal together. We visited All Things Nice Cafe for this week's trip out and we had a fantastic time!

The waitress who took our orders was so patient while we asked questions and decided what we wanted to eat. After one of the group members told me he wasn't enjoying his soup (it tasted different to the way his mum makes it), they happily replaced the meal with something else. Another group member was unsure what a knickerbocker glory was so the waitress took the time to explain and when he wasn't keen on the fruit, she asked for it to be made without.

Sometimes it can be a worry to go out with a group with such varied needs, as it can take us a long time and a lot of additional explaining to read a menu, choose a meal, eat and pay, so it was lovely to feel like the staff were really pleased to have us there. We didn't feel rushed or like we were being an annoyance at any point, and when we came to pay the member of staff who served us allowed everyone the time to count out their money without feeling under pressure.

BEST BREAKFAST IN THE SCOTTISH BORDERS & BEYOND This review is only specific to the 'cooked breakfast' options as available but have observed other meals ordered by others which I have admired (maybe even envied) and heard the recipients' very positive feedback. BREAKFAST = OFF the scale on quality and cooking/presentation ..... some points can be niggle-picked on (e.g. +/- on the cooking of the blessed potato scones) but ... please try it .... their smaller options are great and the Eggs Benedict are...

I had heard good things about this cafe and I’m really happy that I popped in. Cafe was very clean, even the menus were spotless (know this sounds silly but often in cafes there are some marks or sticky). Service was great and very attentive. Food was cooked brilliantly, not greasy and good portion sizes. Steady turn around of customers which is a good sign. Would recommend to others and will definately...
