Fabulous Wee Coffee Shop in Heart of Gala !! 2 Lovely friendly Ladies served us ! Nothing was too much trouble for them ! Even offered to reseat us when a Mum and noisy children arrived and sat at table next to us !! Even though we refused( as my friend and I when the chat begins nothing distracts us !!Lol!) The V fact they cared just shows the difference between them and other Cafes !! We enjoyed 'posh' Cheese and Onion on Toast with scrumptious sweet pickle !!! Lovely americano Coffee ☕️Then cup of tea (if only we had space for one of their gorgeous looking scones or home bake !!) Next Time Ladies !! Most Def !! Our second visit yesterday was as good as our first, confirming it to be the place we choose to visit on our infrequent trips to Galashiels. The light lunches were excellent, the cakes looked delicious, but the star of the menu is the coffee. Our search for coffee excellence has been long and often disappointing, but that served in the Coffee Tree is as good as it gets. It looks unassuming on the outside, but do go in. Lunch choices were a bit different making it a good deviation from the usual toasties etc. Lovely friendly service! Specially enjoyed the massive rolls which accompanied the soup and the delicious crunchie chocolate tray bake....
