H2GO — Restaurant in Scotland

DO NOT EAT OR ORDER FROM HERE! RACIST, DRUNK, LATE, EXTREMELY BAD CHEF. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. We booked a table for 8pm on a Tuesday night, arrived and had to wait 1 hour for the chef to arrive. When he did he was drunk and stank of alcohol. We asked for a peppermint tea which was on the menu but they had none. We asked for a green tea instead.. we were then told they didn't have any of the teas in stock apart from a breakfast tea. We stuck with tap water.The orders had items missing which we had to request. We also had to request salt and pepper. The pastas were undercooked and tasteless and the nachos dry. After being asked how the food was we explained our disappointment. The chef insisted that the pasta was supposed to have a "crunch" as it was al denete... it was more than al dente. We were offered a remake but after wating so long and seeing the Chef in his state of drunkenness declined. We couldnt finish our meal because they were so bad. When it came to paying the £21 bill we requested a 50% price reduction on both pastas. The chef only agreed to give us a discount on one of them and went on to state "I don't know where you come from but here you can't go and eat somewhere and pay half" I am black and my friend is mixed race. My friend in dismay handed the chef £11 and left the chef continued to ramble on saying he could call the police etc etc. I, tired of hearing his excuses decided to pay £7 which he requested. Even with the discount of 50% on 1 pasta which was £8 I should have only paid £6 extra to add to the £11. This just shows how drunk he was. I left very upset, frustrated and feeling robbed. This was the last straw, H2GO Galashiels has been getting steadily worse as time has gone by, and now we shall not be ordering again, the food once again was cold, wrong, and inedible. the person we spoke to on the phone. (male-middle aged-Indian accent) This man was not helpful, he was rude and obnoxious, and now i have a refund in CREDIT for use ONLY on Justeat, i cant remove it, i can do nothing, and all because (SOMEONE ^) decided to sent his driver out with too many deliveries, making him late, and...

Should have paid more attention to the bad reviews. Don't waste your money. Food came 1 hour late, after 3 phone calls and being lied to. They eventually just stopped answering the phone. Finally arrived and was awful. Soggy burger, soggy 'loaded' fries resembled something that you would expect to be handed at a carnival. Flavourless pasta. Pizza was ok to be fair. Outrageously bad...
