Am Bàrd Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

We visited the museum and went to the café for lunch. At first there was no space but they suggested we'd have a wander round the museum while they kept an eye out for a space and would reserve it for us. Busy cafes are a good sign! And the food was absolutely wonderful! I'd been feeling under the weather and was in need of a proper nourishing meal - the thick vegetable soup had bags of flavour and was nice and filling. It was accompanied by a cheese and seaweed scone - something we'd never seen before but now definitely want to make at home! Service was warm and personal. Something wasn't working right here, at least on the day we visited. My wife received short shrift from a very abrupt lady when asking whether there was room for our party of six. Then later, three of us having finally gained entry, I waited in vain for the coffee I ordered for almost 30 minutes before giving up and cancelling. At that point my order was still two away on the girl's to-do list. As we waited we watched various food and drink orders coming out of the kitchen and being offered to each table in turn. I have never been inbarssed in my life they double charged me for a tea and forgot to take money for a toastie,the lady behind the counter thought I was looking for a freebie, how dare you its people like us who pay for your wages next time learn to calm down it was a mistake which happens, I just wanted to understand about how much I was getting charged for my order am allowed to questions this so how dare you ,if you cant work with the public you should find another job,i certainly will be telling others about this...
