what did the good sausage roll say to the bad sausage roll.... 'listen pal, you are a hopeless effort of a sausage roll, you have completely lost your identity, dont you want to be like me, a towering giant of a sausage roll, made with free range pork from local piggys and flaky buttery pastry, i smell and taste fantastic, ive re-written the sausage roll rule book and were there to be a sausage roll world championship i have been told i would win hands down....bad sausage roll immediately re-treated into its corner tae think again.

We were living in Inverness, and despite Inverness having coffee shops and bakeries, none of the baked goods compare to the quality that you find here, in Bakhoos. The sandwiches as well are normally to die for! On our last visit (for now) we had cinnamon buns, feta and sesame seed pastry and a pulled pork sandwich. All delicious! I can't recommend this place enough. The prices match the quality! I wish we could live just next door...would definitely be coming everyday that they're open! Wishing you a lot of success!

I cannot say enough about how great the food is here. Wow. Everything is delicious and high end ingredients, not scrimping. The sourdough loaf we had was the best I've tried and I'm a serial sourdough hunter. As for the ham cheese and horseradish pastry. Omg. So delicious, a flavour explosion. Perfection. I will be back to try all the other stuff as things sell out quickly. An amazing find!

Lovely bakery with lovely staff and prices as expected. We stayed in the area for a few days and Bakhoos was the highlight. The coffee is exceptional, the pastries are incredible and the staff are warm and welcoming. I've seen a few comments about the high prices, but I'm not sure if anyone has seen the cost of butter at the moment, but I wouldn't expect the pricing to be any less. The pastries are beautifully light and buttery and worth every penny. I'm pretty sure we've had every single product on offer and have loved everything. Well done, when we are back in the area this will always be our...

The food is amazing but after my last visit felt the customer care needs work. I made two suggestions that I felt were politely put across and I felt would be better face to face rather than a damming review online but obviously I was wrong. I was shut down and made clear my suggestions weren't going to be listened to. In 3 weeks I have spend circa £60 but probably will not return. In a business in early stages I thought feedback would be important but again I am wrong. In this case the customer is not always right apparently. I only gave 5 stars for the food as it is amazing. Sadly I won't...

Fantastic bakery and coffee, what a great treat at the weekend and well worth a stop on a day out or trip other Black Isle destination. It is a jewel in the crown for sure. The shop and counter is small so take away only although there is a small amount is seating outside. Serving artisan freshly baked cakes, savoury pastries, sour dough bread and focaccia sandwiches it is very popular locally. The coffee is next level with every care taken to meet the requirements of coffee etiquette 😉 using beans from well known and often local roasting houses. A stop here will truly leave a...
