First time here. Nice wee cafe. We went here when the breakfast only menu was on. I had a roll on sausage with a soft flipped egg. Which was tasty. The brownie was nice and soft too My boyfriend had pancakes. Priced well. Could do with being more cosy up the back where i was sat. Would go again to try there different lunch menu if i was passing. Parking is tricky just on the main street as far as i could see

I go to Bernies every couple of weeks or so with a cycling club (good place to stop and the cakes are amazing!) We sometimes go out our way to stop here opposed to anywhere else as the staff are great and there is a good sized outdoor seating area.

The egg Benedict was not good at all. I could not even finish it and it costed £5.95. The coffee however was excellent. The only place I know which servers KIMBO coffee in Scotland so far, but I am sure there would be more places.

Partner opted for a GroupOn deal which was about to expire, so used it yesterday. There's no parking to speak of but if you go further along the road, follow the "P" signs, you double back on the main road and are quite close to the cafe. Handy. :) Decor is more cafe than restaurant, bright and airy. Quickly seated at our reserved table and the drinks and food arrived in a timely fashion rather than quickly. Now, i should mention I am a picky eater and order burger and chips just about everywhere, and we eat out quite a bit. Being in my fifties, I reckon we're at the thousands by now. The burger I had yesterday was in the top 5 I have EVER had. It was THAT good. The coffee was top class too, had two. Grandson had hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. He liked it so much, he got another one ! He also had the rocky road mint cake too...which he reckoned was "good". Those with teenagers understand that this has to be translated to...really REALLY good. lol. To the management and staff...thank you...we will be back and probably very soon. Great...

Food was not hot just warm so was cold half way through eating itmean8ng I couldn't finish it, toast came " buttered" with margarine which I hate it didn't even melt into toast as it was cold also. staff were run off their feet as there were only two of them dealing with seating , taking orders, serving food , clearing up and also payments then they had take away orders and ice-cream , milkshake cakes etc. Staff were very pleasant and apologetic for our wait to pay our bill which took around 10 minutes luckily we were in no rush. I think table service needs a dedicated staff member or 2 when it's busy.

Surroundings where lovely very welcoming only exception of course we got the wobbly table that spilt your tea if leaned on it. Typical village prices not cheap but food looks good and is well presented. Will we go back? I'm on the fence perhaps we just visited on an off day...

Passing through Bridge of Weir, I fell apon this great little cafe. Service was really friendly and welcoming. The coffee was perfect not to biter, a really nice deep roast coffee, well made and full.of flavour. A breakfast roll and sausage came out of the kitchen. Again perfect and importantly freshly cooked.

This cafe was so good that after business was finished late in the day. I returned. This time some carrot cake. Now, Here is were real service stands out. I came in at about 4:40. Ordered and sat down. I noticed they were clearing up. So asking when did they close. "5 tonight. But don't worry plenty of time yet, no need to rush" was the reply. Out came a freshly brewed coffee, along with a fresh bit of cake. "There you are sir take your time and enjoy" now that is what I call service.

If your in the area drop...
