Coffee Corner — Restaurant in Scotland

On a trip back from Edinburgh to Northumberland we were in need of a coffee and something quick to eat.

Stopping in Jedburgh at 5.15pm on a weekday we found it hard to find somewhere open and serving food. After a walk around we found that the Coffe Corner cafe in the marketplace had its door open despite being past its closing time.

The lady inside was closing up but was happy to get us two takeaway coffees, a quiche and a slice of strawberry cheese cake. What a relief after a long drive!

The coffee was good, the quiche tasty and the cheese cake really nice.

What made our visit even more worthwhile was the arrival of the annual riding through the town. What a nice surprise to happen to be in the right place at the right time to see this traditional equestrian...

Had a very nice coffee take out here, decaf latte, reasonably priced and very nice customer service. Chose to take it away as a really nice day and we sat in the square. Lady who served us was pleasant and friendly.

A much-needed cappuccino stop travelling from Scotland to England. This quiet, unassuming café, was friendly and just what we needed. Service was fast and welcoming. There was a small selection of cakes and a great-looking menu for sandwiches and other light bites, however we didn't indulge on this occasion.
