Cute little café with a nice artsy vibe.
Took a chance on a little village café and were very surprised that it was more than just your average. The place has a working pottery studio attached that you can peek your head in to and talk with the artist who owns the café. The walls are also adorned with nice watercolour landscapes which are also for sale I believe.
We both ordered chicken toasties, which came served with coleslaw and salad. The sandwich itself was pretty good, juicy chicken and just the right amount of mayo. I found opening it up and repacking with coleslaw and salad gave it a bit more bite and was very tasty together. 8/10

The staff were so kind and gave us some fun recommendations for our stay, the local art is gorgeous and well worth a look and pottery/paint by Alison is very inspired. We walked out with painted pottery that will make a lovely addition to our homes and share a story of the time we say a sign âpottery & cafeâ and pulled over and stumbled into this gorgeous shop. Fabulous food, really friendly and helpful staff.
Ended up buying a set of pottery draw knobs for our Welsh Dresser at home ... and they're absolutely beautiful - so much so, my wife wants another six for the kitchen cupboards now (and its an excuse to visit again of course ;-)!).
