Village Tandoori — Restaurant in Scotland

Recently we had an unfortunate experience with Village Tandoori in Scotland that left me thoroughly disappointed. From start to finish, this meal was an absolute disaster that I cannot recommend to anyone.

To begin with, the order was completely wrong. It's disheartening when a restaurant can't even get the basics right. I had requested a chicken biryani, but what I received was a far cry from what I had in mind. The dish lacked any discernible flavor, making it one of the most unappetizing biryanis I've ever encountered.

However, the most egregious and concerning issue was the improper cooking of the chicken. It's not just about taste; undercooked chicken poses serious health risks, and it is inexcusable for any restaurant to serve such a dish. I had to wait for what seemed like an eternity to receive my order, only to find the chicken was raw in parts. This is utterly unacceptable and indicates a complete lack of attention to food safety and quality.

Adding insult to injury, I noticed an absurd use of green food coloring in the cabbage. Who in their right mind thinks it's okay to add artificial colors to a dish like cabbage? It's not only unnecessary but also detracts from the natural appeal and taste of the food. This poor decision further highlights the lack of care and expertise in the kitchen.

I won't be ordering from here again, and I advise others to steer clear too. Avoid this place for a safer and more enjoyable...

Shop states that they close at 10pm , I called up at 0955pm to order a pizza. Spoke to a guy who was speaking poor arabic/english. Who then put me on to the spokesperson/delivery driver who sounded like a much older and sleepover joe biden who says it was "too late" for a meat feast pizza and offered us the illustrious choice of "chips or something" .....aye mate that's wit i want a big 16 inch pizza box filled way chips yer about to bin!! Ordered here a few times and each time have been violently I'll the next day. Poor service, poor food and all in all ZERO respect t for customer care AVOID AT ALL COSTS or buy plenty Andrew and glade for your bathroom...

When I received my delivery it was not what I ordered I ordered Multani mince korma with a mince nan bread and strawberry cheesecake, the korma was chicken not mince the korma sauce was very thin as if watered down the nan bread was not a mince nan . And not to mention the strawberry cheesecake cake which was a sponge which was stale I could have broke a window with it. this was a strawberry sponge cake not cheesecake and it was uneadible. I did phone with my complaint to be told Sorry, so I am out of pocket 45 quid for the worst meal I have ever...
