Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

I am in the Newton Mearns branch regularly and it depends on what staff are on that makes a huge difference to the experience!!! Today, 4 members of staff, including a manager and it took nearly 10min to get my cappuccino as they forgot my order, manager too busy talking with another member of her staff!!! Another member of staff spent most of my staying Costa talking to a friend at the counter!! The fact that I had to reorder my coffee as two customers received theirs before me and had came in well after I'd ordered!! You will see by my loyalty card that I frequent, on a regular basis, your other outlets and have never received this...

I go to various Costa Coffee shops each week and very much enjoy them, except this branch. The staff are too busy talking to each other about "last night" and "what she said". You feel like a complete inconvenience and I begrudge spending my money in this branch, so I very rarely do. Costa need to sack all the "silly little girls" that think they are paid to talk to each other and then act like they are too good to serve you. It is also messy and very slow and too hot. Been here a few times. This is a fairly standard Cost Coffee like most others in the franchise. This branch gets busy sometimes as it's right in the shopping centre and therefore gets a lot of foot traffic. Sometimes it feels a little understaffed because the tables aren't cleaned as often as needed. Other than that, the coffee is with a reasonable selection of cakes and light lunch items.
