Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

Went in for a quick stop, the girl working in Costa saw us walk up to the till and didn't acknowledge us, I said excuse me and she turned and just said "yes?" I asked for a drink and she said "ok but I'm cleaning my machine right now" and turned her back on us. She then came to the till and said the price and walked back to the machine to make my drink. Awful customer service as I feel she should be asking if that was everything we wanted etc. When she gave me my drink she just put it on the counter and turned away again. I understand she was working on her own but it wasn't busy so she wasn't rushed off her feet, she just seemed like she didn't want to be there and was trying to get away with as little interaction as possible. We all have off days but if you aren't willing to provide good customer service to every customer, then don't work in a customer facing job. I will be back as this is my regular pit stop on my journeys south, but I hope that the service...

Couldn't read the board for what drinks were on offer because of so many stupid ads. After all that time wasted on trying to read the ad board on a time crunch we found out we couldn't even get the drinks we wanted (bubble tea) because they didnt have the straws. Staff are nice enough though and apologised which I appreciate. But they should be better equipped and get a normal drinks menu that allows customers to read whats on offer. And get some damn straws!!! Not a good costa for a place that is...

Never had a bad Costa Coffee in my life. Only once had bad service in Stirling Costa after it moved in to middle of Thistle Centre and was treated like an idiot when staff allowed someone to skip in front of me as he was 'better dressed', that really offended me but I just never went back to Costa in Stirling Thistle Centre. No big deal for the company as I prefer Costa to the competition and always visit Costa elsewhere - just NEVER STIRLING THISTLE CENTRE COSTA. Apart from that issue...
